Log your weight, reps, and effort. Live coaching compares those sets with your plan and can suggest an adjustment when the remaining workout seems too hard or too easy. You decide whether to accept it. Completed sets stay unchanged; live coaching access depends on your subscription.

Questions to ask before choosing an AI fitness coach
How is your workout chosen? What changes when you’re tired? Explore how Forge plans, adapts, and explains your training.
Forge uses your goals, experience, available equipment, training schedule, preferences, and logged feedback to propose your training. You review the program before approving it. Open “Why?” on an exercise, session, or program block to see the coach’s reasoning, including when a volume cap, held weight, or deload shaped the recommendation.
Included with Forge Pro, live coaching compares your logged weight, reps, and effort with your plan. When it notices a clear mismatch, the orb signals a short note between exercises—at most twice per workout. Approve an adjustment to the remaining exercises, or keep your plan. Only exercises you haven’t started can change; logged sets stay untouched. Weight increases are capped at two plate steps and reductions at 20%. An easier session won’t count against your progress. You can turn live coaching off in Settings → Training. Forge Plus allows one live check-in per rolling seven days.
Yes. Forge plans around the equipment and time you have, at home or in a gym. If your circumstances change, tell your coach—for example, that you only have dumbbells or 20 minutes today—and ask for a different workout.
Workout logging and progress charts are part of Forge. The coaching connects them: it plans what to do, explains why, remembers what matters to you, and uses your results to guide what comes next. With Forge Pro, live coaching can also suggest adjustments during your session. You decide whether to accept them.
Questions
Training with Forge
A little more about how Forge fits into your training.
Forge is an AI personal training app for iOS and Android. It builds personalized workout plans, guides your sessions, tracks your progress, and remembers your preferences and feedback. Live coaching can suggest changes during a workout, with your approval. Forge is coming soon.
Can Forge create a workout plan for my goals and schedule?
Yes. Tell Forge your goal, experience, training days, session length, available equipment, and limitations. Your coach proposes a personalized training plan for you to review and approve. Your logged workouts and feedback help it adapt future sessions.
How do I start or change today’s workout?
Tap to begin your workout. Need something different? Press and hold to ask your coach—“I’m tired, make it easier.” Log your sets, and Forge prepares your next session after you finish.
How does Forge help me progress?
Choose linear progression, double progression, or periodized training, with each approach explained in plain language. Your coach uses your logged results and feedback to adapt upcoming sessions.
Can I see how to perform an exercise?
Yes. Explore 1,600+ exercises across strength, mobility, and conditioning, each with a looping demo video. Need a different exercise? Your coach can suggest alternatives that fit your training.
What can I try for free?
Setup and program creation are free. You can manually log and complete your first workout for free; further workouts and continued coaching require a subscription.
What does the AI know about me?
Your coach receives training context, not your account name or email. Your profile provides a derived age rather than your birth year. You can read and edit the notes your coach remembers.
Can I use Forge in my language?
Forge supports English, German, Spanish, French, Portuguese, Russian, and Arabic, including right-to-left layouts. Your coach replies in your selected language.
Where can I download Forge?
Forge is coming to iOS and Android. App Store and Google Play download links will be available here when the app launches.
What workout progress can I track in Forge?
Forge shows estimated strength over time and bodyweight trends from your weigh-ins. Open workout history to review completed sessions, duration, recorded sets and notes. An estimated one-rep max is calculated from logged performance, not a tested maximum. Strength projections are estimates, not a promise of future results.
What can I tell my AI training coach?
Share training preferences, available equipment, time constraints and feedback. For example, tell your coach you will only have dumbbells while travelling. Notes can remain relevant over time or have a follow-up date. Open the coach’s memory to read and edit its notes. Program changes require your approval.
